In the
early 1990's I wanted to create a website. From this
desire the company db graphics was born.
Originally the D and B stood for Debra and Bill.
My husband and I wanted to create a website for his
locksmith business. I was taking design classes at
Chattanooga State and one of my projects was to create a
logo for my business. I thought of DB Graphics and
the logo was created. We took many classes there
over the years in graphics, programming and web design.
In 2005 I
started doing freelance web design for Chattanooga
Websites, a local web design company. In 2006 Jose
Cruz came to work for the Company and we collaborated on
many of the websites that Chattanooga Websites produced.
Jose brought an eye for design in the fine arts since
his training was in charcoal, pastels, and graphite,
where my background was more technical.
Tragedy
struck in February of 2007 when the owner of Chattanooga
Websites, Dan Baker, died suddenly of a heart attack.
We found ourselves at a crossroads. What should we
do? Through the urging of our family, friends and
former clients, we decided to expand db graphics.
No longer would it be just Debra and Bill. Now we
would be Dynamic Business Graphics. Jose and I
created a new business partnership that will continue
to offer our clients honest, reliable and creative
service and designs. Bill will continue to act as
our technical advisor. We hope to expand our
business in the years to come.
At db graphics, we're more
than just another pretty face. |
